We are a non-profit corporation and operate exclusively:

 

• to support and conduct non-partisan research, education, and  informational activities to increase public awareness of the importance of job creation in Northeast Minnesota;

 

• to support job growth in Northeast Minnesota by promoting mining, manufacturing, tourism, logging, construction, retailing and service industries;

 

• to prevent the deterioration of our communities and schools which result from the out-migration of Northeast Minnesota citizens due to economic conditions;
   

• to create a favorable business environment by promoting the implementation of sensible tax policies, and;

 

• to counter the radical environmental organizations opposing proposed copper/nickel mining operations in Northeastern Minnesota.
